"halong bay"

Between 08:00 and 08:30 you will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi;
It is then a 3.5 hours drive to "Halong" City on the coast;
In Halong City you have lunch;
You board in "Bai Chay" where everything is explained by the captain and his crew;
In the evening, moor at "Cat Ba" (aboard);
The next day back to Halong City and the bus back to Hanoi.

Including:

- transport to and from "Halong City" with AC minibus;

- Drinking-water during the entire trip of 2 days (also on the boat);

- Entrance of the National Park “Halong Bay” of 60,000 VND;

- Lunch (2x), diner and breakfast.

Exclusive:

- Drinks (other than the drinkingwater – see above);

- Other expenses and other activities (kayaking, diving etc.).

Two days and one night tour: STANDARD: $ 55 (PRICE: 2014);
Two days and one night tour: DELUXE: $ 75 (PRICE: 2014).

tips:

Ask what the consequences are if the tour is canceled due to bad weather; maybe you get offered another tour or you’re money back for instance;
Take a slightly more expensive boat trip and try not to skimp on this trip; this will probably be a one-off trip that you do not want to remember as an unforgettable trip (in a good way);
Ask before you order a drink what the costs are - often the beer is very expensive;

Make sure you know how big the group is and where you sleep (in cabin, on the deck or something else);
On "Cat Ba" island many backpacker trips are organized to "Lan Ha" bay in smaller sailboats and often camping on the beach to keep costs as low as possible. It is also much quieter here than in "Ha Long" bay and the costs are (even) lower;
Also ask if there is a walk on one of the islands to a cave.
