Usually you will be picked up around 07:15 in front of the travel agency by someone who collects/check your ticket and gives you a sticker that you stick on your shirt. Often you will be taken to "Khao San Road" meeting point where you have to wait until you are sent in the right van (people with the same sticker). You go with an AC minibus in about 1.5 hours (from 08:00 - 09:30) from Bangkok to the market where you get instructions in English about the market and the surroundings. You then have 1.5 hours to OR take a one-hour paddle tour through the canals and walk for half an hour along the quays OR walk alone along the quays. The boat trip through the canals is 150 Baht extra. At 11:00 you meet again and you are left with 10 people at the same time in a speedboat (solar roof) where you in 20 minutes through a village that is entirely is built along the waterside. In a different parking lot you will be taken back to the meeting point in different vans.

Tip:

If you are going to do the paddle boat trip, take a sun hat, sunscreen and perhaps something for your bottom. A bottle of water is also recommended for the whole day.
